Japanese domestic-market imports are a smart buy: well specified, well kept and often better value than the equivalent locally-supplied car. The one catch is the in-car technology, which almost always arrives set to Japanese. A little planning makes the whole thing painless.
Before you buy
Switch everything on. Check the dashboard, the navigation and the climate and audio screens, and note what is in Japanese. Nearly all of it can be converted, so treat it as a small, known cost rather than a deal-breaker.
After you buy
Book a conversion early — before the Japanese menus become a daily frustration. We convert the dashboard, navigation and control systems to clear English, usually the same day, with a full warranty.
Buying more than one?
Garages, dealers and importers converting several vehicles at once get volume pricing and a batch schedule — see our Fleet & Trade page, or start a fleet enquiry.
Ready when you are — book your conversion and drive in your language.
